Steve Blum

Steve Blum is Gladys' son and Troy's brother. He has been involved in Real Estate since 1993 and lived in Salem off and on since 1978. This California native is now a Salem expert. Steve's main job is the Marketing Representative for The Blum Team. After Gladys lists a property for sale, Steve handles all the exposure of the property until an offer is accepted. After that, Deanna takes over in Escrow. His attention to details and awesome commitment to customer service is what helps the team to be successful. He also prospects for new business (mostly listings).

After moving to Oregon from California, this 1983 Sprague graduate went to college- Spartan School of Aeronautics, and then to Real Estate School here in Salem at Norm Webb. Before becoming a part of The Blum Team, Steve worked at Honeywell Space and Aviation for seven years!

When Steve is not working, he likes to play Frisbee golf, traditional golf, go camping, fish, and work around his property. He has eight chickens that he is raising into high producing layers. Steve also has three kids- Krista, Steven, and Kaitlyn. Krista has owned her own salon here in Salem since 2003 (Salon Mecca) and is married to Brett Jackson of Jackson Jewelers in Salem. They have a son Bradyn born May 5th, 2010. Steven Jr. is a graduate of Corban and is married to Kaylyn. Kaitlyn is engaged and planning on getting married after she graduates from Biola on June 22nd, 2013. Steve just recently married his wonderful wife Jamie on November 11th, 2011.

Steve's favorite Oregon spots are: the coast, Eagle Crest in Redmond, Bend, Bridgeport Village, and Portland in the summer. And there is one last fact that you must know about Steve Blum... Steve became an Eagle Scout at the age of 13 and earned all 125 merit badges by the age of 18. For anyone to become an Eagle at the age of 13 is an accomplishment, but to earn all the merit badges is truly commendable.
